BOOK REVIEW - DIRTY by KYLIE SCOTT - DIVE BAR # 1 - PAN MACMILLAN - CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE

By: Kylie Scott
Published By: Pan Macmillan, St Martin's Griffin
Released : Available Now
Details : Paperback from publisher for honest review.

RATING: 4.5 VAUGHAN STARS!

Blurb: Goodreads

The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.

Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.

Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.

After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

I loved the Stage Dive series and I really enjoyed Dirty. It was a fun and sexy start to the Dive Bar series.

A quick and easy read. Exactly what I needed.

Vaughan is gorgeous in the way he handles Lydia on their first meet and greet.

Lydia is a real woman. She’s not perfect and Vaughan loves that about her.

“I didn’t like you trying to hide parts of yourself from me.” Vaughan stared at the wall. “I’m not like that asshole, picking and choosing which bits of you suit him and expecting you to change the rest. I’m into you, Lydia. All of you.”

I want to squeeze that guy for saying that. Just smoosh him up in a bear hug.

Lydia has found herself in a rather awkward and emotional situation and needs a place to crash.

Lydia is having a layover, for a bit of a pun, as she tries to figure out her next step in life.

Vaughan doesn’t mind the company even though he ain't sticking around, he has plans.

Things get dirty along the way and emotions get tangled.

We meet Eric, Joe, Nell and Andre and some other new characters.

All are engaging and I'm looking forward to Twist releasing in November and reading more about them.
